Laguna Beach County Water District
2016
Description: The Temple Hills pump station, built in the 1950s, and upgraded in the 1980s is presently in poor condition. The pumps are inadequate and the structure has many items in need of repair.
WHB Engineers was retained to rehabilitate the structure, and upgrade the mechanical and electrical items associated with this pump station. The pump station roof structure was analyzed and was determined to be deficient. A structural overlay is specified to promote proper drainage. New horizontal split case pumps are specified along with flow meters, thrust blocks, and a manifold delivery system to pump into the network.
