Rancho California Water District
2016
Description: This project consisted of the design of a new pump station for the Upper Valle De Los Cabllos (UVDC) region, including a chlorine contact tank, a sodium hypochlorite generation facility, and the pipelines to interconnect from the source wells and to the 1305 and 1380 pressure zones. The UVDC region is currently fed from a single 33kV:4.16kV transformer that distributes 4.16kV power to all existing sites.
The new utility service feed and distribution system was designed for the capacity to feed all existing, new, and future loads (4 additional well sites).
Our team provided electrical and control systems design, including the 4.16kV power distribution, site power, controls, lighting, grounding, coordination with SCE.
